U.S. Inland Division Semi-Automatic M1 Carbine, #4942845, .30 carbine cal., 18" barrel, parkerized finish, walnut stock, blade front sight with ears, and adjustable rear peep sight. Included are a khaki WWII sling, BOYT 43 magazine pouch, 1944 dated muzzle cover, "U" marked cone flash hider, and M-13 canvas machine gun cover. Receiver is marked "INLAND DIV./49428445". Barrel is marked "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/1-44/P". No import marks. Carbine is in fine overall condition. Approx. 90% finish remains, with wear on the operating slide and blued bolt. Low wood stock was oiled or varnished and is now very good+ overall, with scattered moderate marks. Handguard was not oiled and has several medium sized dents. Action works properly. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling. Accessories range from very good to fine condition. $1,000-$1,300. (C&R)
