British Parker Hale No.9 Mk 1 Lee Enfield Bolt Action Training Rifle, #A2957, .22 rimfire cal., 25.2" barrel, blackened finish, hardwood stock set with hand guard, blade front sight with protectors, original folding leaf rear sight with aperture and battle sight remains in place, and a new setting marked "25 YD" has been added to left side of the elevator. Rifle is a standard No.4 that was converted to a training rifle by Parker Hale for the British Royal Navy by installing a new bolt head with an offset firing pin and a new barrel marked "PARKER RIFLED A.G.P." on the crown. The follower has been removed from the magazine. Left side of the receiver is marked ".22 R.F.N.9 Mk 1/P-H60". Matching numbers on bolt handle and forend. Number on the magazine has been crossed out. Import marked on left side of the barrel. Condition overall is very good, retaining approx.75%-80% blackened finish, with scattered wear and handling marks. Wood is very good, with added finish, showing impressions and handling marks. Action operates smoothly. Bore is bright with very good rifling. Est.: $800-$1,100. (C&R)
