Browning Model 1895 Limited Edition Grade I Lever Action Rifle, #01098PW187, .30-06 cal., 24" barrel, with blue finish. Smooth walnut straight grip stock and Schnabel forend; buttstock ends with a matte blue steel shotgun buttplate, providing a 13.4" LOP. Sights include a brass tipped blade front and buckhorn rear. Marked "MADE IN JAPAN" on left side of the barrel. Includes factory cardboard box with matching end label, Browning brochure, and associated packaging materials. Rifle is in excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 99% factory finish, with intermittent light handling to the wood and metal. Action is crisp. Bore is mirror bright with excellent rifling, showing little use. Mfgd in only 1984, production on the Grade I was limited to 6,000 rifles in .30-06, with another 2,000 produced in .30-40 Krag.
