^Lot 65 Remington-Smoot New Model No. 4 Spur Trigger Revolver

Remington-Smoot New Model No. 4 Spur Trigger Revolver, #21472, .38 CF cal., 2.5" barrel, nickel finish, checkered black two-piece hard rubber grips, half-moon blade front sight, with milled groove in the rear of the top strap. Marked on top of the barrel "E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION, N.Y." Approx. 23,000 were manufactured circa 1877-1888. Overall condition is fine, displaying approx. 95% nickel finish, with a crisp barrel address. Grips are excellent. Action is strong and crisp, Bore with scattered spots of mild erosion, rifling is clearly defined and rates very good overall. Est.: $600-$800. (Antique) (Michael Strietbeck Collection)
