Remington-Smoot New Model #3 Saw Handle Revolver, #NVSN, .38 RF Short cal., 3.75" octagon barrel with solid rib, nickel finish, pearl grips, fixed blade front and "V"-notched rear sight. Top of the barrel is marked in one-line "E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION, N.Y. PAT. W.S. SMOOT. OCT. 21, 1873". Approx. 6,000 manufactured in this configuration. Includes a glass topped wood display case with fitted red interior. Revolver is in near excellent condition, retaining approx. 97%-98% bright nickel finish, with scattered light scratches and handling marks. Barrel address is crisp. Grips are near excellent.
