Remington Over/Under Type II Model No. 3 Double Derringer, #635, .41 RF Short cal., 3" barrels, re-nickeled finish, checkered two-piece black hard rubber grips, integral fixed blade front sight, and notched rear sight channel. Top of the barrel is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y." Matching number on left side of the grip frame and underside of the barrel. Mfgd circa early-1890s. In good condition as refinished, displaying approx. 93%-95% of its heavily re-nickeled finish, applied over some minor surface imperfections, with losses primarily around top of the frame and hinges, with have a brazed repair. Grips are fine, with minor handling marks. Barrel address is still sharp. Action is crisp. There is a little mild pitting in the bore, rifling is good. Est.: $300-$500.
