Remington-Rider Magazine Pistol, #NVSN, .32 RF Extra Short cal., 3" barrel, nickel finish, two-piece rosewood grips, with half-moon blade front sight. Top of the barrel is marked in two-lines "REMINGTON & SONS. ILION, N.Y./RIDERS PAT. AUG. 15TH, 1871". Mfgd circa 1871-1888, with approx. 15,000 produced. Metal is very good, displaying a mixture of muted nickel finish and bare gray metal, with general mild pitting. Grips are good with several moderate dents, scratches, and finish wear to both panels.
