Remington New Model Single Action Percussion Belt Revolver, #906, .36 cal., 6.5" octagon barrel, originally blued with case hardened hammer, brass trigger guard, smooth two-piece hardwood grips, blade front sight, and fixed "V"-notch rear sight. Top of the barrel is marked in three-lines "PATENTED SEPT. 14, 1858/E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION NEW YORK. U.S.A./NEW MODEL". Matching visible numbers on left side of the grip frame, underside of the barrel, and in pencil on back of the right grip. Overall condition of this revolver is good, displaying a mostly even brown patina across the metal surfaces. Grips with a dark stain, scattered light handling marks, and small chip missing from the lower front corner of the left panel. Factory markings show some areas of wear but remain legible. Action is crisp and cycles smoothly. Bore is partially bright, with very good rifling, and scattered light erosion, particularly near the muzzle. Est.: $600-$800.
