Unopened Packet of .44 Caliber Skin Cartridges: Marked "SIX SEAMLESS SKIN / CARTRIDGES, / WITH PERCUSSION CAPS, / For Colts Army Pistol, / 44-100 Caliber, / Hotchkiss` Patent, Feb. 11th, 1862. / MANUFATURED BY / SAGE AMMUNITION WORKS, Middletown, Ct." In fine condition, with complete paper wrapping, and intact string-pull. Paper shows some expected light discoloration and a few minor spots of darker staining along the bottom edge.
