^Lot 1 Antique German Silver Mounted Flintlock Pistol

Antique German Silver Mounted Flintlock Pistol, #NVSN, .65 cal., 12.5" barrel, dark gray patina to the metal surfaces. Barrel with fancy silver scroll inlays on approx. 5" at the rear three flats, plus another at near mid-barrel, and another silver inlay circling the front fixed blade silver sight. Pistol also features fancy silver trigger guard/base, butt cap, two ramrod thimbles, and two sideplates. Stock is carved hardwood. There are no markings on the lockplate. Mfgd circa early 1800s. Overall condition is good with a black/gray patina to the barrel, lockplate, hammer, trigger, pan, striker mechanism & misc. securing screws, with the balance of parts silver as noted above. Action is crisp, bore shows even moderate erosion. Est.: $1,800-$2,400 (Antique)
