Winchester Model 77 Semi Auto Rifle 22 L - 1955 - 1963

The Winchester Model 77 was an American semi-automatic .22 caliber sporting rifle
produced by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company from 1955 to 1963.

Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with the standard Winchester marking
(see picture) - Serial number is 6662

Barrel Length: 22 inch

Sights / Optics: This rifle is mounted with a blade front sight and a U-notch rear sight
that has the correct height adjustment wedge..

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is wood. There are numerous small
compression marks, but surprisingly, not many scrapes or gouges.
LOP measures 13 1/4 in from the front of the trigger to the rear of the butt, which has
a Winchester manufactured butt plate.

Type of Finish: Blue

Finish Originality: All Original

Bore Condition: The bore is almost bright and the rifling is good.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 70% of its metal finish. The balance of the
finish shows a nice even patina.
The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Good condition for its age
and condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly.
