Before 1979, the Iranian flag was a horizontal tricolor of green, white, and red, with the Lion and Sun emblem in the center. This flag, also known as the Pahlavi Iran flag, symbolized the country's heritage, monarchy, and national identity. the flag was changed after the 1979 revolution. Not one of the cheap copies out there, cotton material with machine stitched construction. Very good condition measures 58" x 31".
