Opanci are traditional peasant shoes worn in Southeastern Europe and the Balkans. Construed of of thick pigskin with open ended toes, twisted sinew cords along the top edges and front of shoes. sections of hide attached to the soles. Circa late 1800's. Good, intact condition. For display only as the pigskin has dried out with age and and hardened .Measure about 12" in length.
