^Lot 184a English Pepperbox .30 Cal NVSN

Fluted six-shot barrel block, decorated with a band of foliage at the muzzle and stamped with Birmingham proofs at the breech, rounded action decorated with scrolling foliage, scroll engraved trigger guard, slab walnut grips and scroll engraved grip cap. Action and timing work very well, the bores are dark/dirty, appears to have been cleaned at some point, some light scattered pitting on the barrel block. Grips are very good. Circa 1840-1860. Bore measures approximately .30 Caliber.
