Cal. 22 Hornet. S# 40416A. Bbl. 24" tapered rnd. Ramp mounted replacement white bead front sight, Redfield replacement folding leaf rear sight, with Lyman receiver sight. Bolt features claw extractor and wing style safety. Bottom of bolt is numbered to the rifle. Straight comb walnut stock with hand checkering, sling swivels, and checkered steel buttplate. Mfg. in 1933. CONDITION: bbl. and action retain 70% lightly worn blue showing carry and edge wear. Bottom metal and buttplate have brightly polished reblued finish. Stock has a light coat of added varnish over scratches and marks. Very bright bore with some areas of light to mild pitting. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1824/DS).
