Cal. 12 GA, 3". S# 1317466. Bbl. 30". Model 12 pump action shotgun mfg. by Winchester in 1949. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting Winchester's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations above "FOR SUPER SPEED & SUPER-X FULL". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt, which is polished in-the-white. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock with grooved wood pump. Buttstock exhibits a layer of added varnish, and is fitted with a Winchester red rubber recoil pad. Aluminum bead front sight. Right side of safety switch exhibits a flat checkered panel. Receiver and bbl. are matching. LOP is shortened to 12 15/16" with refit original pad. Aftermarket big head safety. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting light to mild edge wear, a few areas of light thinning, as well as light superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered superficial marks and minor impressions (primarily under the finish on buttstock), but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
