No. 2 frame has double triggers, front lifter & extractors. Triggerguard tang has matching S# engraved. Splinter walnut forearm with checkering, steel tip, Deeley style release & matching numbered iron. Straight grip stock with checkering & German silver shield top of wrist. LOP: 13" to steel buttplate. CONDITION: barrels have gray patina appearance overall with scattered spots of corrosion & dent on left bore. Action & lock plates faint case colors mixed with hand worn silvering on edges & scattered spots of patina. Good wood finish shows wear to checkering along with scattered dings & marks. Finish is peeling in small spots throughout buttstock. Hairline cracks are present extending behind lock plates. Pitted bores. (01-27809/MD). ANTIQUE. $900-1,300.
