The Marlin Model 80 is a mag fed, bolt-action.22 caliber rimfire rifle sold
from Model 80 1934-1939 this model was followed by
Model 80E 1934-1940
Model 80C 1940-1970
Model 80DL 1940-1965
Model 80G 1960-1965
This one offered is the original Model 80.. Does NOT have a Magazine -
Mag is MISSING.

Action Type: Manually Cocked Bolt Action Rifle
Markings: The top of the barrel is marked with Marlin Firearms Co - Model 80
New Haven USA 22 S-L-LR

Barrel Length: 24 inch
Sights / Optics: This rifle is mounted with a blade front sight and a U-notch rear sight
that has NO adjustment wedge..
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is wood. There are numerous small
compression marks, but surprisingly, not many scrapes or gouges. There is some
loss of finish (varnish) - other than that stock is sound.
There are also holes front and rear underside where sling mounts had been fitted.
LOP measures 13 1/4 in from the front of the trigger to the rear of the butt, which has
a standrad Marlin manufactured butt plate.
Type of Finish: Blue
Finish Originality: All Original
Bore Condition: The bore and the rifling is good.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 80% of its metal finish. The balance of the
finish shows a nice even patina. .
The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Good condition for its age
and condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly.
