Africa, Yombe peoples. Female figure in the seated position with hands brought to her waist clasping a vessel. The patina in a dark polished honey brown with black or dark brown painted elements. Size 18" H. Condition: Good with old worn elements to the left arm.. Provenance: Family collection of an esteemed diplomat and ambassador amassed during travel and work circa 1960-1990s in the medical field providing charitable advanced medical care throughout the African continent and internationally.
