Handsome wood carved ceremonial rattle from Pacific Northwest, Haida. Relaxed man on a bird with an oystercatcher seemingly being fed by the oystercatcher. Well wrapped handle in a tight twisted fiber, a birds mouth eats at the handle. Painted all over in orange, red, blue, green and yellow pigment throughout. Size 16" L x 4" W x 4" H, weight 280g, custom stand included.. Condition: Overall good condition with minor pigment losses.
