Native American, Pacific Northwest Coast, Alaska. Representing the benevolent man in the moon, beautiful Inuit bone carved mask mounted on a section of whale pelvic bone on a beautiful wood stand. Feathers affixed to the top, the faces smile boldly. Larger moon has almond slit eyes with a wide slit smile, and the man in the moon has pierced eyes with a wide brimmed smile. Size 6" W x 16" H. Condition: Good overall condition with no obvious signs of restoration or repairs.
