^Lot 105 US 65th Army Regiment Borinqueneers Backpack

American historic Borinqueneers backpack from the 65th Infantry Army Regiment. Marked in white (B12) to the side, (65th Reg) to the back, and (65) to the front. Composed primarily of Puerto Rican soldiers in 1899 after the Spanish-American War. The regiment fought limited combat roles in WWI and later fought in WWII / Korean War. Size 14 3/4" L x 4 1/4" W x 13 3/4" H. Condition: Soiled with oxidization, tears, and wear commensurate with age and use but intact overall.. Provenance: Ex-Southern California Estate
