This museum quality knife was handcrafted by Chase
Bachenberg from a billet of CopperMai Surge Damascus.
This billet is composed of an 80crv2 high carbon steel
core with copper cladding for a stunning one of-a-kind
presentation. This particular knife design is made to
replicate Theodore Roosevelts Rough Rider Bowie knife.
The bowie knife has an overall length of roughly 12”. The
stabilized wood handle dates back to 1895 from a Copper
Beech tree that President Theodore Roosevelt planted at
his home at Sagamore Hill. The natural finished handle is
accented with brass pins to complement the handle.
