Texas Hog Hunt with Pope Brothers Guide Service
for 2 hunters for 2 days, unlimited feral hogs.
Pope Brothers Guide Service has graciously donated a 2 day, 2 night hog hunt for 2
hunters, on their ranch out of Junction, Texas, in the hill country of West Texas. The hog
situation in North America is getting out of hand, with Texas having hundreds of thousands
of feral hogs. Your hunt will begin with a PBGS guide in the morning of the first day, and
end the following day. You are allowed to harvest as many hogs as you can find.
Lodging is always comfortable and clean everywhere the PBGS crew hunts. If you upgrade
to some of their other exotics, you may go to another ranch, which can range from 5 star to
custom built hunting lodges, ranch houses, mobile homes, bed & breakfasts, hotel or motel.
Most have satellite or cable TV, internet and the same comforts as your home. PBGS hunt
many different areas in Texas, based on the animals hunted, so they don’t really have a
main lodge. Arrival/Departure point would be Dallas or Midland, then rent a car and drive
to the lodge. The all-inclusive hog hunt includes nice Lodging on or near where you will
be hunting, all non-alcoholic beverages (BYOB/BYOL), 3 meals per day, all transportation
while hunting, and arrangements can be made for those of you who fly to get an airport
pick-up. Drive down and bring home the bacon.
The main lodge for this hunt will be in Junction, Texas, in their 5 bedroom 2 bathroom
Lodge a few blocks from the Llano River. Downstairs there is a BBQ pit and fire ring, next
to the skinning pole. Grabs some friends and go down to Texas Hill country and help get
rid of some tasty Bacon on the hoof. Guns can be rented if needed. You can upgrade for
more days and hunt their extensive list of exotics. Call Clay or Holly for information.
