Extractor appears unnumbered. Five-screw Pre-Model 27 made 1954-1955. Nickel finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Checkered diamond center walnut target grips with mismatched right panel & silver S&W medallions. Grips are early & lack a thumbrest. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: dark hardwood S&W presentation case. CONDITION: refinished grips show a couple dings & scattered handling marks. Trigger & hammer retain most of their case colors with some operational wear & light oxidation. Balance of metal retains most of its original nickel with a drag line on cyl., some fouling on cyl. face, some edge wear & scattered oxidation under grips. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
