"C BAKER" marked percussion lock with floral scroll and waterfowl scene. Double set triggers; rear is set. Wedge fastened walnut stock with brass triggerguard, sling swivel, brass buttplate, German silver wedge escutcheons and thimble. Hardwood ramrod held by 2 faceted pipes. WEIGHT: 11 lbs., 11 oz. CONDITION: fading brown finish on barrel with corrosion, scratches & oxidation predominantly around bolster. Lock appears to have been cleaned with leftover patina. Fair wood finish with heavy marks & residue. Brass furniture shows patina. Dark bore. Lock appears to function when cycled by hand. (01-26183/MD). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
