Overall length: 23”. Blade length: 17 3/8”. Plain blade with a knight’s head mark on the ricasso. S-shaped guard with hooved quillons and a downturned, scalloped guard. Two-piece horn grip with two gilded brass rivets. Superbly articulated, gilded brass lion’s head pommel. Gilded brass-mounted leather scabbard with acorn frog stud. CONDITION: blade shows some original factory polish. Hilt retains 70% of its original gilded finish. Scabbard mounts show about 50% of their original finish. Leather is dry but remains strong.
