SWORD. Overall length: 38 1/2". Blade length: 30 3/4". The blade has a single wide fuller and a secondary fuller near the spine. The blade is etched over 17" with various foliate, patriotic, and military motifs. The ricasso has a spurious stamp that reads "U.S. ADK 1851." Gilded brass hilt. Wire-wrapped leather grip. Gilded brass-mounted iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a light gray overall patina. Hilt has approx. 70% of the finish remaining. The grip is undamaged. Scabbard has had the finish removed from the body. (02-21839/BF). $100-200.
