Lot 4097 AMERICAN CIVIL WAR ERA BRITISH ENFIELD BAYONET.
This socket bayonet has an overall measurement of 20 3/4" and is marked on the flat "AWD." The socket fits a .577 caliber Enfield musket, and the locking ring is intact. The black leather scabbard has an internal iron tip and a white buff leather throat. CONDITION: bayonet has a dark patina and shows no damage. Scabbard shows light wear overall.
