Overall length: 32". Blade length: 26". The plain blade has a single wide fuller and is stamped at the ricasso "U.S.N. DR 1861" and "Made by AMES MFG CO CHICOPEE MASS." Full, brass, cup-shaped guard with standard pommel. Wire-wrapped leather grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a medium gray, cleaned patina. Hilt has a mellow, mustard patina. Grip leather is better than 95%. Wire is complete. (02-23278/BF). $400-600.
