Cal. 36. S# 36084. Bbl. 6 1/2", octagonal, with German silver blade front sight. Five-shot round roll engraved cyl. Original finish is blue and case colored with silver-finished grip straps. One-piece walnut grip. Bbl., frame, and grip straps have matching serial numbers. Replacement wedge. Estimated production of 78,000 mfg. 1859-1868. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to gray, showing some very light pitting. Cyl. retains 70% scene. Grip straps show faint traces of silver. Action screws show screwdriver distortion. Sanded and refinished grips are undersized, showing scratches and marks. Timing of cyl. is slow when action is cycled. Lightly pitted bore retains worn rifling. (01-25599/DS). ANTIQUE. $700-1,000.
