SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 GA, 3" Magnum. S# 95261. Bbl. 28". Companion single-shot break-action shotgun mfg. in Italy and imported/retailed by Eagle Arms. Left side of the bbl. is marked "MADE IN ITALY," with Italian proofs and the date code "XX9" marked on the underside, beneath the forend. Left side of the receiver is marked with the model designation above the patent information, with the cal. designation and Eagle Arms' importer information marked on the right. Sides of the receiver feature scroll engraving, as well as a JLG Arms shield. Chamber area features foliate engraving as well as an engraving of a bird on each of the quarter flats. Receiver exhibits a gray finish, with the chamber exhibiting a chrome-type finish. Bbl., trigger guard, and takedown lever exhibit a blue finish. Checkered wood pistol grip buttstock and forend. V/R with brass bead front sight. Matching numbers are present on the receiver and bbl. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory finishes, exhibiting some spots of light wear as well as scattered superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore. Wood furniture exhibits some marks and minor impressions from handling and storage but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-8385/MLW). CURIO. $300-400.
