^Lot 2339 ENGRAVED BROWNING BPS FIELD MODEL PUMP ACTION

SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4" & 3". S# 30883NY152. Bbl. 26 1/8". BPS Field Model pump action shotgun mfg. in Japan and imported/retailed by Browning Arms Company. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN JAPAN," with the model and cal. designations marked on the right. Sides of the receiver feature scroll engraving, with the left side exhibiting a scene of two pheasants and the right a scene of three ducks. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for the aluminum trigger guard, which exhibits a black enamel type finish. Checkered wood pistol grip buttstock, with checkered wood forend. Matte V/R with aluminum bead front sight. Bbl. is fitted with a threaded Extra Full choke. CONDITION: very good, with a few spots of light wear and some superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore. Wood furniture shows some scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
