KRAKAU. This cream-colored porcelain bowl measures 9 3/4" across at its widest point. The front of the bowl has a WWII German political eagle on a wreath surrounding a party symbol. Beneath the eagle is the word "STAATSKASINO". The base is marked "(logo) Rosenthal Bahnhof Selb Germany CHIPPENDALE STAATSKASINO KRAKAU" with the pattern number "1180". CONDITION: the bowl is in near perfect condition, but it does appear to, at one time, have had a lid that is not present. (02-23066/BF). $200-400.
