RECONAISSANCE AIRCRAFT. Photo of a U.S. Navy Model F8F-2P Bearcat reconnaissance aircraft (1 of 60 of this variant built). Standard markings on aircraft, with what appears to read "J.G. M.D.J.TURLEY" beside the cockpit. Photo measures 20 3/8" wide, and 20 1 1/8" in height. Photo is mounted on a board with duct tape and appears to read "AUG 1951 PACIFIC OCEAN F8F-2P U.S. NAVY "BEARCAT" ABOARD USS ORISKANY CV-34". CONDITION: good, with creasing, a couple of puncture marks, and what appears to be a few minor tears. (02-23185/MLW). $50-100.
