ADAPTERS WITH ORIGINAL BOXES. Lot consists of 45 M1 Garand M1A2 grenade projection adapters. Side of adapters are marked "ADAPTER GRENADE/ PROJECTION M1A2" above the lot number and the date of mfg. "3-69". Exterior of adapters exhibit a green painted finish. Adapters are housed in their original cardboard boxes, which exhibit a matching "3-69" date on the exterior. CONDITION: 1 16-count box and 1 13-count box are excellent overall, with some light superficial marks from handling and storage. Remaining 16-count box's adapter exhibit more marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. Boxes exhibit exterior wear from handling and storage, as well as some tearing. PROVENANCE: Lifelong Collection of Terrence McCarty. (02-21821-10/MLW). $1,000-1,500.
