^Lot 833 Winchester Model 1892 Carbine Lever Action .44 WCF Rifle with Saddle Ring

Manufactured in 1915. This sporting rifle features a 20" blued round barrel with original rear ladder sight and blade front sight. Full length magazine tube with two barrel rings. Barrel is stamped on the left side with the two line Winchester address and "44 WCF" near the receiver. Left side of the receiver is fitted with a saddle ring. Winchester proof marks on barrel and receiver. Tang is stamped "MODEL 92 / -WINCHESTER- / TRADE MARK REG. IN US PAT OFF". Straight walnut wood stock and matching forearm with period correct metal butt plate. LOP: 12-3/4". CALIBER: 44 WCF. S/N: 785258. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Barrel and tube retains 85% finish with a few surface oxidation spots. Lever, bolt and trigger retain 70% finish. Receiver and butt plate have turned to a brown patina and shows some scratches under the saddle ring. Stock shows some scratches and light dings. Light frost on the bore and great mechanics.
