^Lot 240 NICE Beretta Ducks Unlimited 687 DU 12 GA Magnum Over/Under Engraved Shotgun in Original Case

Manufactured in 1989 by Beretta in Italy. Features 28" ventilated rib barrels chambered for 3" magnum shells. Includes a 7 piece Beretta screw-in choke tube set and wrench. The Monoblock is stamped with matching serial number to tang with Italian proof marks. Equipped with ejectors. Coin finished action features 90% engraved coverage with floral and scroll designs covering top, sides, bottom, lever, trigger guard and tang. Left side panel features two landing ducks in a pond scene, stamped "DUCKS UNLIMITED" below. Right side panel features three quail in flight in a woodland scene and stamped below "Maass", likely the engraver. Bottom of the action features a quail in flight and stamped "MADE IN ITALY", "P.BERETTA", "MOD 687 DU", "PATENTED / DU91031812". Blued finish lever and trigger guard and gold wash single select / safety trigger. High figured walnut with matching skeet style forearm. Checkered forearm and pistol grip with a Ducks Unlimited logo inlaid on the bottom of the grip. Stock is fitted with a brass inlaid vanity plate and brown rubber recoil pad. Comes in a beautiful green velvet lined Ducks Unlimited Canvas take-down case with brass plate etched "DUCKS UNLIMITED COLLECTORS" / "SERIES 1989-90". Includes original hanging tag and paperwork. CONDITION
Great overall condition retaining 98% original finish, with limited handling marks. Stock shows crisp checkering with very faint handling marks. Excellent bore, unfired. Case is in good condition with limited minor handling and storage marks.
