^Lot 56 Antique Kentucky Half-stock Rifle with H.E. Leman Lock

Kentucky style half-stock rifle made by unknown gunsmith, circa 1850. Rifle measures 50 " overall with 34" octagon rifled barrel in 38 caliber with rifle sights. Percussion lock marked "H.E. Leman/ Lancaster PA" with double set trigger control. Curly maple halfstock with brass hardware and pewter nosecap. Comes with hardwood ramrod . CALIBER: 38. FFL STATUS: Antique.
CONDITION
Overall fair with metal showing a brown patina and various usage wear marks. Wood has been cleaned with large chip missing at front barrel pin. Pitted dark bore with functioning mechanics.
