^Lot 1816 Terni 1891 6.5mm Carcano SN: SI5377

Italian military bolt action rifle had been shortened. Features 22" barrel, banded front sight blade, adjustable tangent rear sight, straight bolt handle, manual safety, Mannlicher type magazine accepts 6 round en-block clips. Walnut stock shortened, retains rear swivel and smooth buttplate. Bore is good condition, fairly bright, with slight erosion to rifling, frosting throughout. Metal retains dark color throughout, most has drifted to a brown color, much patina and some rust. Stock shows signs of heavy use with many small dents all over, shrinkage at buttplate.
