^Lot 1627 Hungarian/CAI M44 7.62x54R SN: BF1233

Cold war era Hungarian military carbine, dated 1953. Features a 20" barrel with front post, and tangent rear sights, side folding 12" cruciform bayonet, integral magazine, with hinged floorplate. Blue is about 98% with minor scratches. Wood is very good, bore is excellent/bright. CAI import marked on left barrel. Cleaning rod present. Matching serial numbers on barrel, receiver, floorplate, bolt and steel buttstock.
