WW2 Russian/Soviet Union bolt-action rifle. Produced 1891-1953. Russian Military issue Mosin-Nagant dated 1943. Izhevsk arsenal, imported by CAI, Vermont (right side of barrel) Fed from a non detachable 5-rd magazine. 29" barrel with hooded front post, Tangent style rear sights. Matched serial numbers on barrel, & butt plate, mismatched bolt. Izhevsk 5th pattern arrow in triangle on barrel shank. Bore appears good, strong rifling, needs cleaning. Action is smooth/tight. Blued metal finish is about 90% with minor edge wear, scratches, Wood stock/handguard is good with some scratches/dings there is a couple of hair-line cracks in the upper handguard that has been reinforced with twine. No cleaning rod.
