Palmetto Arms Co was actually a trade name used by the Tryon Hardware/Catalog company in Philadelphia between around 1900-1925. The shotgun was made by one of a few different manufacturers such as Crescent Firearms, Hopkins & Allen or Stevens. 30" barrel,.Break top, single shot 16 Ga. shotgun, choke is IC, LOP is 14", Bore is very good/bright, barrel locks up tight, metal has turned a brown patina, wood is sound, no cracks, has many scratches, some finish loss.
