Lot 913a Carved Powder Horn w/ Inscription
Inscribed "John Belitune Made Me 1852". Measures 10" from tip to plug across curve. Original plug and carved end. Depicts U.S. eagle, mermaids, three-masted ship flying U.S. flag and "liberty" in banner. Cord is broken. Good to very good condition with mellow and even patina. From Carrol Delzer Estate (possibly a relation).
