WW1 Imperial Russian bolt-action rifle. Produced 1891-1953. Russian Military issue Mosin-Nagant dated 1916. Izhevsk arsenal, imported by CAI, Vermont (right side of barrel) Fed from a non detachable 5-rd magazine. 29" barrel with hooded front post, Tangent rear sights.. Matched serial numbers on receiver, magazine, barrel, & butt plate, mismatched bolt. Izhevsk bow & arrow on barrel, but writing has been mostly scrubbed,Bore appears dark/rough, good rifling. Action is smooth/tight. Blued metal finish is about 70% with edge wear, scratches, and handling wear. Wood stock/handguard is very good with some scratches/dings. No cleaning rod.
