Lot 865 Hood Firearms Union Jack No. 1 .22 Short NVSN
Manufactured by Hood Firearms, Norwich, Connecticut
Barrel marking Union jack No.1, .22 short caliber, 7 -shot, single action, spur trigger, solid frame, 2 1/8" round barrel, with a fluted cylinder. A vest pocket-sized revolver. Last patent date “1876”, showing, 70% original blue, some light erosion, wood grips. Does not revolve when unloaded. It was manufactured that way. Bore appears good, dusty, hammer action is crisp, grips are good. Cylinder pin is bent, could not remove it. Would make a nice shadow box display.
