^Lot 625 Unsigned Flintlock Horse Pistol 60 cal NVSN

Circa 18th Century single shot pistol features right hand lock, approx 12" smooth bored barrel of approx 60 caliber, walnut stock with decorative carving, iron pommel and fittings, engraved brass stock cap at muzzle, wood ramrod under barrel, engraved and decorated on butt and serpentine. Barrel shows brown patina color, other metal generally a dull gray color. Wood is good condition, dark and stained, no obvious visible cracks. Action is sound.
