Made in Belgium for export to the UK. Half stock single-shot percussion fowler. 37" octagonal to round barrel. Top barrel flat has the early Liege proof "E L G over star in oval (1818-1893), also stamped "London" has 3 faint Birmingham proofs in use 1813-1855. Limited floral engraving on the brass triggerguard, and buttplate, also on the steel lock, & hammer, checkering on the wrist, wood ramrod, German silver fittings. One cock action is crisp/tight. Stock is good/sound, good fit to metal. Metal finish has turned a brown patina. NRA Condition-Very Good. Antique Firearm.
