AKA the 'Lemon Squeezer' or 'New Departure'. 4th model, manufactured 1898-1907. Blue finish, blued triggerguard, rare 6" ribbed barrel, pinned front sight, checkered rubber grips with S&W monograms, grip safety, standard markings with S&W trademark on the right frame. Matching serial numbers on the grip frame, cylinder, & barrel latch. Blue finish is very good with scratches, handling wear, bore is excellent/bright, grips are overall very good, but there is a chip out of the bottom left panel., tight lock-up, action is crisp. Traces of case colors on the trigger. NRA Condition-Very Good. C&R Firearm.
