.38 spl Serial # 39033 Very fine overall with over 85% factory blue finish remaining with losses contained at grip straps and barrel from holster carry, brilliant bright bore and chambers, early service stocks with deep dish medallions are good and remain full sized. Manufactured 1930-1941. Left side of the grip frame marked with factory return dated "3-49" (March, 1949) and factory return star on butt. Barrel 5" C&R
